Description

  • Translate high-level architectural direction into scalable and maintainable software designs.
  • Guide the engineering team to deliver high-quality, observable, and testable code aligned with product and architecture goals.
  • Create and maintain C4 diagrams, technical roadmaps, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
  • Drive technical decision-making through collaborative sessions and proofs of concept.
  • Champion CQRS and event-driven architecture using Azure Service Bus.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to decompose, estimate, and prepare stories for technical readiness across multiple microservices.
  • Define coding standards for C# and Angular and review pull requests for readability, layering, and test coverage.
  • Own and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines and manage deployments using Bicep infrastructure as code.
  • Define dashboards and SLIs with Azure Application Insights and implement tracing with OpenTelemetry.
  • Coach team members in distributed systems design and promote engineering excellence.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and .NET 8/9.
  • Experience designing microservices with CQRS and event-driven architecture, preferably with Azure Service Bus.
  • Strong skills in Azure SQL, Entity Framework Core, and data access patterns.
  • Proficiency with Docker and Azure Container Apps or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML and Infrastructure as Code with Bicep.
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, and secure authentication using Azure Entra ID, OAuth2, and OIDC.
  • Exposure to Angular and modern frontend architecture is a plus.
  • Experience with performance tuning, cost optimization, or SLO/SLA definition is a plus.
  • Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) and architecture runway planning is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with observability stacks such as Application Insights and OpenTelemetry is a plus.
