Description

  • Ensure data development follows quality and efficiency best practices.
  • Optimize the use of available data to maximize business value.
  • Collaborate with teams to refine user stories and requirements.
  • Help define clear and well-scoped user stories for the data engineering team.
  • Participate in documenting AS-IS and TO-BE processes and identifying technical debt and improvement opportunities.
  • Implement refined and approved user stories with quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain data products in a cloud Big Data environment using Databricks.
  • Work closely with data and business stakeholders to align solutions with business needs and best practices.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with near real-time data processing using Kafka.
  • Experience productizing models built in Databricks using MLOps.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Spark, Python, and programming logic.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to increase team delivery capacity.
  • Analytical ability to work with and analyze data sets.
  • Problem-solving ability to identify and propose solutions.
  • Consultative profile with a 360-degree view of project impact and strong assertive communication.
