Description

Serve as a travel expert and professional guide for contracted corporate clients.
Plan domestic and international business travel in line with organizational travel policies and traveler needs.
Conduct detailed fact-finding with travelers or corporate representatives to determine travel requirements.
Use travel systems, airline reservation systems, hotel reservation systems, and transportation providers to secure cost-effective arrangements.
Maintain and monitor operational queues, including Action, Error, and Cancel, and follow applicable SOPs.
Process reservation changes and cancellations through completion and notify clients promptly.
Provide clients with travel updates and advisories, including itinerary details, customs, passport, visa, and vaccination information.
Research travel industry changes, trends, and offerings to keep guidance current.
Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure timely, accurate completion of travel arrangements.
Recommend value-added services to client agencies.

Requirements

2+ years of travel consultant experience.
Ability to complete on-site training in Virginia Beach, VA before working remotely.
Experience working with travel systems and reservation systems for airlines, hotels, car rentals, and Amtrak.
Ability to support corporate travel for domestic and international itineraries.
Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
Ability to track workflow in operational queues and follow standard operating procedures.
Familiarity with travel documentation and advisories, including passports, visas, customs, and vaccination certificates.
Preferred status for veterans with expertise in these areas, if applicable.
