Description

  • Design and maintain systems that orchestrate package creation, test generation, and container image building.
  • Develop LLM-integrated, agentic pipelines for manifest generation, test scaffolding, and validation.
  • Design prompt architectures, evaluation loops, and quality gates for AI-powered tooling.
  • Build production Go CLI tools, services, and integrations.
  • Develop test generators, validation frameworks, and automation that improve customer reliability.
  • Contribute technical ideas and direction to the squad’s roadmap.
  • Collaborate with distributed teammates across the US, Canada, EU, and India.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of software engineering experience designing and building complex systems.
  • Strong expertise in Go.
  • Experience integrating AI/LLM systems for code generation, automation, or developer tooling, including prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Ability to design loosely coupled, scalable systems and make pragmatic architectural trade-offs.
  • Experience building developer tools, CLIs, or automation platforms.
  • Deep Linux and build systems knowledge, including apk, apt, rpm, Make, Bazel, and language-specific toolchains.
  • Experience with Docker, OCI, container registries, Kubernetes, and containerization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work autonomously across time zones.
  • Based in the US or Canada.
  • Preferred: Linux distribution experience, open-source contributions, production service ownership, supply chain security knowledge, melange/apko/Wolfi experience, or familiarity with FedRAMP, FIPS, or STIG.
