Description

Build and extend core platform services to add new functionality.
Develop and enhance authentication, authorization, and analytics capabilities.
Build, test, deploy, and monitor a distributed set of backend services.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver solutions.
Expand the public API to support the platform’s growing capabilities.
Improve the developer experience for internal and external stakeholders.
Translate complex business requirements into robust, extensible, and maintainable software solutions.

Requirements

Experience writing backend services in Golang.
Understanding of distributed systems and the challenges associated with them.
General knowledge of database design and common access patterns.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure, including AWS and/or GCP.
Strong collaborative and teamwork skills.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience building services within GCP is preferred.
Experience using Kubernetes and Docker is preferred.
Experience with SSO, SAML, and/or OIDC is preferred.
Experience in a SaaS startup environment is preferred.

Benefits

Remote work available within the United States or Canada, with remote employees open across the continental US.
Salary range of $165,000-$188,000 for high cost of living areas, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
Salary range of $135,000-$155,000 for all other locations, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
