Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline, and Amazon Kinesis.
  • Serve as a shared data resource across product teams for data integration, modeling, and analytics solutions.
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for primary product teams using AWS CloudFormation or CDK.
  • Develop and maintain data storage solutions using Amazon S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, and other AWS-managed databases.
  • Design and develop code pipelines for application builds, automated testing, static code analysis, and controlled merges or commits based on quality thresholds.
  • Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure resources to support organizational and product-specific goals.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and application instrumentation for real-time insight and troubleshooting.
  • Optimize ETL workflows across diverse data sources and destinations.
  • Set up and manage AWS IAM policies, roles, and security configurations to protect access and data.
  • Create documentation and provide training for AWS-based data solutions, and ensure adherence to security best practices such as OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, and CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of applicable work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a data-centric field such as Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, or Data Analytics, plus 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful technical leadership on large-scale data projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to pass stringent background investigations.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours on a sporadic basis as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently, handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines.
