Description

  • Embed quality practices across product development through tooling, automation, infrastructure, reporting, and best practices.
  • Improve the platform test strategy by strengthening unit, API, contract, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Enhance CI/CD workflows, including test-data setup, test isolation, execution reliability, and actionable failure feedback.
  • Reduce flaky tests and noisy test signals while improving developer confidence and delivery velocity.
  • Support functional testing of roadmap-driven features and enhancements through all testing phases.
  • Apply agentic testing capabilities and AI test harnesses to improve lead time to value.
  • Track and improve quality KPIs, including test coverage, defect trends, test effectiveness, execution health, flakiness, and regression rates.
  • Partner cross-functionally to influence quality in design, planning, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and incident reviews.
  • Share testing methodologies and coach developers and fellow SDETs on quality practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of quality engineering experience in modern SaaS or platform organizations with cloud-native AWS environments.
  • Experience scaling automated testing infrastructure and integrating it with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Workflows.
  • Knowledge of testing strategies across the test pyramid, including unit, API contract, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience with Cypress, Pact, and K6.
  • Front-end knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices for improving test signals and pipeline feedback loops.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills to influence engineering and product stakeholders.
  • Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience integrating QA tools such as Zephyr Scale and on-premises CI/CD systems using GitHub.
  • Interest or experience in AI-powered testing tools such as Copilot, Devin, and Claude (preferred).
