Description

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to embed quality across development, deployment, monitoring, and incident reviews.
  • Develop and improve platform-wide quality strategies, including greater use of unit, integration, API, and contract testing.
  • Improve CI/CD and developer workflows by strengthening test data setup, isolation, execution reliability, and feedback loops.
  • Reduce flaky tests and noisy failure signals while improving end-to-end test stability and speed.
  • Support functional testing throughout the product lifecycle and help teams deliver roadmap functionality on schedule.
  • Apply agentic testing capabilities and AI test harnesses across quality engineering processes.
  • Track quality and DORA metrics, including coverage, defect trends, test effectiveness, flakiness, regression rates, and execution health.
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-platform quality initiatives while sharing testing practices and mentoring developers and SDETs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience on Quality Engineering teams in modern SaaS or platform organizations using cloud-native environments, preferably AWS.
  • Experience scaling automated testing infrastructure and integrating it with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Workflows.
  • Knowledge of testing across the pyramid, from unit through end-to-end, including API, contract, and integration testing.
  • Experience with Cypress, Pact, and K6.
  • Front-end testing proficiency with HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices for improving test signals and pipeline feedback.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder-influence skills across engineering and product teams.
  • Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed, multi-region teams.
  • Experience integrating QA tools such as Zephyr Scale and GitHub-based CI/CD systems.
  • Interest in AI-powered testing tools such as Copilot, Devin, and Claude is a bonus.
