Description

  • Design architectures, prototypes, and technical proposals aligned with business needs and long-term platform strategy.
  • Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, design discussions, and hands-on collaboration.
  • Define and execute product, platform, monorepo, build-system, and CI/CD architecture roadmaps.
  • Break down large initiatives into incremental, parallelizable deliverables across the software development lifecycle.
  • Improve build processes, developer experience, CI/CD pipelines, and overall SDLC practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response improvements.
  • Mentor developers through design reviews, AI-assisted development sessions, and feedback on technical practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, cloud capabilities, and agentic-AI automation opportunities.
  • Establish safe, effective AI-tooling practices and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and architectural alignment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, product, UX, security, subject-matter experts, and external stakeholders while maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with impact beyond a single team.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Nx monorepo architecture at scale.
  • Experience designing and operating CI/CD systems, including GitHub Actions or equivalent, for multiple teams.
  • Experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS or multi-tenant platforms, preferably on AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and software quality practices.
  • Experience with agentic-AI software development practices and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs such as REST or GraphQL.
  • Experience mentoring developers and influencing architecture across teams.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, RxJS, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, WCAG 2.1, GitHub, and Nx.
