Description

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to embed quality across design, development, deployment, monitoring, and incident reviews.
  • Develop and improve quality strategies across unit, integration, API contract, functional, and end-to-end testing.
  • Improve test data setup, isolation, execution reliability, and CI/CD workflows to reduce flaky tests and shorten feedback loops.
  • Participate in testing phases and apply AI-driven testing capabilities and test harnesses.
  • Track quality and DORA metrics, including coverage, defect trends, test effectiveness, execution health, flakiness, and regression rates.
  • Use quality insights to guide automation and infrastructure investments.
  • Lead cross-platform testing initiatives and provide horizontal support across distributed teams.
  • Share testing methodologies, mentor developers and SDETs, and promote a quality-first, AI-first culture.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience on Quality Engineering teams in modern SaaS or cloud-native platform organizations, preferably AWS.
  • Experience scaling automated testing infrastructure and integrating it with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Workflows.
  • Knowledge of testing strategies and tools across the test pyramid, including Cypress, Pact, and k6.
  • Strong front-end knowledge and testing fluency with HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices for improving test signals and pipeline feedback.
  • Strong communication, coaching, collaboration, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
  • Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed, multi-region teams.
  • Experience integrating QA tools such as Zephyr Scale and GitHub-based CI/CD systems.
  • Strategic growth mindset with a pragmatic, systems-oriented approach to quality at scale.
  • Interest in AI-powered testing tools such as Copilot, Devin, and Claude is preferred.
