Description

  • Run the local Carvana hub and oversee market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, team engagement, and overall market success.
  • Create strong team morale and maintain a positive, collaborative culture within the market.
  • Interview, select, onboard, and train Customer Advocates.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, performance check-ins, and goal setting to develop team members.
  • Recognize individual and team achievements using organizational programs and creative recognition methods.
  • Generate, monitor, and present regular reports to upper management.
  • Support the team directly in day-to-day work, including washing vehicles and delivering cars to customers.
  • Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment while keeping operations running smoothly.
  • Improve the overall customer and Advocate experience through proactive problem-solving.
  • Address complex and sensitive customer-facing issues effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and leading teams to exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity while maintaining focus on the customer experience.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to thrive in a rapidly growing startup environment where roles change as the company evolves.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Tableau preferred.
  • Analytical mindset preferred.
  • Experience handling logistics preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time, up to 8+ hours.
  • Ability to reach, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat as needed.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent driving requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time while driving, up to 3 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to communicate accurately with customers.
  • For employees in CA, CO, KY, LA, MD, NV, OK, TN, UT, VA, and WI, a Salesperson license must be obtained within the first two weeks of employment.
