Description

  • Run the local Carvana hub and oversee market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, and ongoing market success.
  • Create strong team morale and maintain a positive, engaged market culture.
  • Interview, select, onboard, and train Customer Advocates.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, performance check-ins, and goal-setting to improve team performance and development.
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team achievements through organizational tools and creative recognition methods.
  • Generate, monitor, and present regular reports to upper management.
  • Serve as a hands-on expert for the team by assisting with car washing, vehicle deliveries, and other operational tasks.
  • Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment while managing operational details.
  • Improve the customer and Advocate team experience through proactive problem-solving.
  • Address complex and sensitive customer-facing issues effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and guiding teams to exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity while maintaining focus on the customer experience.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to thrive in a rapidly growing start-up environment where roles evolve.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Tableau preferred.
  • Experience handling logistics preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8+ hours.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, twisting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, and squatting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent driving requiring excellent visual activity and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while driving, up to 3 hours at a time.
  • Must apply for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks of employment in specified states; employment is contingent on obtaining the license.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
