Description

  • Manage and document vehicle movement through the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
  • Serve as the face of Carvana for associates, vendors, and visitors at the site.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, partners, and customers while practicing active listening.
  • Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and logistics facility to identify and document safety or security concerns.
  • Support emergency readiness by following incident response protocols and assisting when needed.
  • Receive training and certification in first aid, CPR, and AED response.
  • Partner with team leads and managers on badge creation, CCTV review, and related security requests.
  • De-escalate situations and collaborate with others to maintain a safe, service-first environment.
  • Execute facility Safe and Secure access and exit procedures.
  • Use the Safe and Secure App and RFID technology to support site operations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven decision-making ability in a complex environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with others.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, card access, and other safe and secure technology preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting an OSHA program or safety team preferred.
  • Experience supporting crisis prevention and/or response plans preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and perform frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to work in conditions that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or include fumes or odors.
  • Must have excellent visual acuity, manual dexterity, frequent driving ability, and computer data entry capability.
  • Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be able to work in a 24/7 facility where gates are manned at all times.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
