Description

  • Develop and productionize machine learning solutions for document understanding, search and Q&A, GenAI, and virtual agents.
  • Develop and maintain backend services in Python for AI-driven applications.
  • Design and implement APIs that integrate AI models and services.
  • Build tools for large-scale data processing and ETL, and help extract insights to guide ML system development.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI models, integrations, deployments, and backend services.
  • Develop automated testing and validation processes to ensure ML solution integrity and robustness.
  • Document development processes and implementation details for peers and supervisors.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of healthcare data, including HIPAA adherence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2+ years of industry experience, with a strong focus on ML solution development and production deployment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including deep neural networks, transformer-based LLMs and MLMs, boosted or standard decision trees, and RAG.
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, efficient algorithms, and quality software development.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with GenAI services such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemma.
  • Experience developing and fine-tuning prompts on GenAI services is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and logical thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Good written communication skills for remote collaboration.
