Description

  • Analyze relational datasets to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for operational improvement across government programs.
  • Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports and analytical tools for data-driven decision-making.
  • Create and maintain standardized code templates and a repository to streamline report generation and routine task automation.
  • Ensure analytical outputs align with regulatory requirements and business objectives by interpreting CMS and state guidance with internal subject matter experts.
  • Support the design and implementation of scalable, automated solutions that reduce manual work and improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use analytical software to help the department achieve executive leadership goals.
  • Participate in requirements-gathering sessions and translate business needs into actionable analytical deliverables.
  • Present analytical findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • Support root-cause analysis and reporting of data issues or errors with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and quality assurance testing for new application features and team deliverables.
  • Prepare high-level user documentation, including SOPs, job aids, and BRDs.
  • Work with internal clients to research, develop, and document new reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance operational capabilities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of healthcare data experience.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in government programs.
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL.
  • Experience performing analyses on large sets of relational datasets.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organized and able to shift priorities easily.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to problem-solve with limited direction.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work product.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience working with business intelligence tools (preferred).
  • 1+ year working with Python (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience working with pharmacy data (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience with Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and/or Exchange pharmacy data/processes (preferred).
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, and other Atlassian products (preferred).

Benefits

  • New York, NY salary range: $76,000 to $95,000 USD.
  • Denver, CO salary range: $69,600 to $87,000 USD.
  • Charlotte, NC salary range: $63,200 to $79,000 USD.
