Description

  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
  • Write and test high-quality code based on design specifications and product requirements.
  • Participate in planning and design discussions with product managers and designers.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using Python, React, and AWS.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software quality.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the team’s products.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Follow the Capital Rx Code of Conduct and report noncompliance as required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) experience preferred.
  • Git code management experience, including work in a monorepo preferred.
  • Strong Python experience, including Flask and SQLAlchemy.
  • Strong TypeScript experience with React.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, including common table expressions, window functions, views, stored procedures, and full-text or geospatial indexing.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code and a security mindset, including AWS and Terraform.
  • Experience participating throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • History of delivering complex web applications to the cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of unit testing across multiple paradigms.
  • Experience working with microservices or API-based application architectures.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $86,400-$136,000 for remote US candidates.
  • Base salary range of $108,800-$136,000 for New York, NY candidates.
  • Base salary range of $100,000-$125,000 for Denver, CO candidates.
