Description

  • Establish and grow relationships with key client decision-makers to understand their healthcare goals and how Capital Rx can support them.
  • Oversee client account management with a focus on member satisfaction, client satisfaction, trend management, and retention.
  • Partner with account team members to deliver high-quality member and client service.
  • Support resolution of client-level member issues.
  • Manage client contractual requirements and execute contract renewals.
  • Analyze pharmacy claims data to identify clinical trends and client-specific insights.
  • Meet with clients to review pharmacy data, discuss trends, and recommend clinical management strategies.
  • Interpret pharmacy and healthcare trends and incorporate guidelines, clinical education, and pipeline information into client presentations.
  • Explain formulary and clinical programs to clients, including the member experience, and respond to clinical inquiries.
  • Create and analyze pharmacy benefit reports, including ad hoc reporting as requested.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third parties that serve clients.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts and support broader business and operational needs.
  • Participate in meetings, testing, claims review, or other work outside standard business hours when required.
  • Adhere to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct and report any noncompliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution with strong academic performance.
  • At least 3 years of relevant pharmacy experience; health plan, managed care, or PBM experience preferred.
  • Managed care residency completion accepted as an alternative to the preferred pharmacy experience.
  • Prior account management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with large datasets and analyzing raw data in Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and able to shift priorities easily.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product.
  • Ability to travel and present to small and large groups.
  • Travel required up to 25%.
