Description

  • Lead and scale the organization-wide quality assurance strategy across engineering teams.
  • Manage, mentor, and oversee QA engineers across multiple Scrum teams.
  • Define and implement quality strategies covering automation, manual testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and executive leadership to align testing priorities with business goals.
  • Oversee scalable test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Establish quality metrics and KPIs and report testing effectiveness and product health to leadership.
  • Champion shift-left testing, test-driven development, exploratory testing, and other QA best practices.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in test coverage, tooling, processes, test data, performance testing, and environment stability.
  • Conduct code and test reviews and participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional planning.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the offered role or a similar occupation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and Management, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience building and scaling test automation strategies for large or complex applications.
  • Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar front-end automation tools.
  • Scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with API and middleware testing, SQL, Linux/Unix systems, and relational databases.
  • Experience integrating testing frameworks with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
  • Experience with AWS, environment validation, and infrastructure testing.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams and collaborating in remote-first environments.
  • Experience with compliance, audits, or testing in regulated environments.
