Description

  • Manage production incidents and problems to support timely service restoration.
  • Act as the first line of defense for major incidents by monitoring system health and coordinating troubleshooting.
  • Own the operational health of production systems and provide real-time stakeholder communication during service disruptions.
  • Lead problem investigations by identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
  • Work cross-functionally with infrastructure, application development, architecture, data, security, and other IT teams.
  • Drive efficiency gains through optimization, simplification, and automation.
  • Support improvement of system uptime and reduction of mean time to recovery (MTTR).
  • Track and help meet ITSM KPIs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain effective change and problem management practices to prevent production outages.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment within a hybrid team.

Requirements

  • Experience as an IT technical professional focused on service delivery, incidents, or problem management.
  • Ability to understand large-scale IT ecosystems and connect business processes to supporting systems.
  • General knowledge of engineering, software development, cloud computing, DevOps, SRE, and observability, with expertise in at least one area.
  • Experience with application performance monitoring, log analysis, network performance, and digital experience monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, ThousandEyes, ExtraHop, SevOne, or FullStory.
  • Dynatrace experience is preferred.
  • ServiceNow experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft platform experience is a plus.
  • Ability to support extended hours when business needs require it.
  • Experience working in a hybrid workplace and collaborating with teams at varying experience levels.
