Description

  • Partner with project leadership, clients, and consultants to define and lead project-specific digital strategies across BIM, VDC, data management, and technology integration.
  • Lead the development and review of BIM Execution Plans and other contractual digital deliverables, escalating scope or contractual conflicts when needed.
  • Own project digital requirements, including BIM strategies, data exchange protocols, advanced model delivery, and digitally enabled workflows.
  • Establish and oversee model management frameworks for large programs, including audits, performance metrics, optimization, and consistency across teams.
  • Lead digital coordination meetings and facilitate client and consultant discussions such as BIM/GIS coordination, clash detection, and digitally enabled design reviews.
  • Oversee software compatibility, file version management, and data exchange strategies to maintain interoperability and efficiency.
  • Lead onboarding for internal and consultant team members on digital strategy, workflows, collaboration platforms, and firm standards.
  • Partner with the Design Technology team to define best practices, standard workflows, and scalable processes for large programs.
  • Mentor project teams in the use of firm tools, workflows, and emerging digital practices.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and integrate new digital tools and workflows, and help scale successful solutions across teams and offices.
  • Manage project access, permissions, and licenses for digital environments in coordination with IT and Design Technology.
  • Support digital collaboration across multi-office teams and external partners to maintain model health and delivery quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the digital realm of the A/E/C industry.
  • Solid understanding of project phases from design through construction/closeout.
  • Prior experience in BIM management and VDC coordination for large programs or projects preferred.
  • Experience training others in the design, delivery, and use of BIM.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and client engagement capabilities.
  • Knowledgeable in design software and comfortable testing and adopting new technology.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Revit, Insight 360, Dynamo, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Revizto, Enscape, and other design applications.
  • Knowledge of the Revit API preferred but not required.
