Description

  • Monitor the helpdesk: receive, triage, escalate, and close tickets while managing end-user expectations for response times.
  • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for Windows and Microsoft Office for local and remote users.
  • Prepare, set up, and coordinate employee equipment and onboarding hardware needs.
  • Identify operational areas requiring equipment upgrades and coordinate scheduling and implementation with System Administrators.
  • Participate in testing and evaluation of hardware and software with IT staff and design technology leadership.
  • Adapt or modify existing hardware and software to meet specific user or project needs.
  • Maintain peripherals such as printers and other office devices.
  • Travel to client or office sites as required and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows desktop and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong communication skills and innovative/creative thinking.
  • Ability to work with the IT team to provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolutions in a user-friendly, professional manner.
  • Willingness to support both local and remote users and to travel when required.
  • Ability to participate in hardware/software testing and to adapt/modify systems to meet needs.
