Description

  • Prepare and report monthly project revenue, review performance and projection variances with the Regional Controller and present findings to project and firm leadership.
  • Develop profitability forecasts and review project staffing and schedules to support forecasting and decision-making.
  • Review consultant contracts and invoices for accuracy and match to project budgets, and oversee timely, contract-compliant invoicing and receivables collection with Project Managers and the Business Office.
  • Interpret, summarize, and check complex data sets to produce weekly and monthly project status reports and maintain financial records for project status.
  • Facilitate development, evolution, and management of project work plans, budgets, and schedules with Project Managers and perform time impact and other schedule analyses as requested.
  • Prepare complex spreadsheets, databases, graphics, and written correspondence (including letters explaining payment decisions) to communicate schedule, cost, and contractual information to internal and client audiences.
  • Maintain and develop positive client relations, proactively communicate to obtain approvals for scope changes and payments, and influence client processing of payables.
  • Monitor and maintain risk and added‑services logs, assist in drafting contracts and exhibits (B101/C401/C727), and shepherd contract documents through approval processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor work in progress, ensure firm best practices are followed, help formulate process improvements, and travel to meetings or site observations as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience in project control activities including progress tracking, data analysis, reporting, complex spreadsheet management, and consolidating data from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel) and MS Project; strong familiarity with Power BI; experience with Procore or Primavera P6 and Deltek Vision preferred; MS scheduling applications knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to navigate and reconcile numerous data sources for accurate reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to think critically and perform work with a high degree of latitude, handling ambiguity and independent judgment.
  • Experience in a professional services firm is a plus.
  • Team-focused with the ability to work effectively with multiple skilled professionals and support team leadership.

  • Base salary range $88,600 to $110,700 annually (actual pay may vary by location, experience, education, and skill level).
