Description

  • Provide clinical case coverage for CVAC procedures as assigned across the territory, region, or nationally when needed.
  • Train surgical teams, physicians, and medical staff on safe and effective device use, instrument preparation, and intra-operative support.
  • Proctor cases and independently cover procedures to support strong patient outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices, hospital policies, and procedures.
  • Develop technical expertise to serve as an educational resource for internal and external teams.
  • Prepare, maintain, and quality-check equipment and kits for surgery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment according to standard procedures and provide intra-operative clinical product support.
  • Manage account inventory, reconcile usage and missing inventory, and ensure shipping documents match received and returned items.
  • Support physician training, sales training programs, APP education, office and hospital staff education, and residency education in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and on-label interactions with healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience as a Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN, BSN, or Laser Tech.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience for Clinical Specialist II candidates.
  • Prior experience as a Clinical Specialist with a medical device company or with Mobile Litho Provider Companies.
  • 3+ years of full-time medical device clinical specialist experience focused on case coverage and patient outcomes for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Experience providing intraoperative coaching, procedural guidance, and staff training.
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room.
  • Urology experience preferred for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Experience utilizing fluoroscopy is a plus.
  • Degree or certification in a medical-related field such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech is highly desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including up to 90% by car and outside the designated territory.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.

Benefits

  • Total compensation of $100,000-$140,000 annually, including base salary and annual variable bonus.
  • Base salary of $80,000, $100,000, or $120,000 per year depending on experience.
  • Annual variable bonus of $20,000.
  • Auto allowance of $9,600.
  • Cell phone and internet allowance of $1,800.
  • Stock options with ownership in the company.
  • Employee benefits package including 401(k), healthcare insurance, and paid vacation.
