Description

  • Provide clinical case coverage for assigned CVAC procedures across the territory, region, or nationally as needed.
  • Train surgical teams on safe and effective device use, including support during the training period.
  • Deliver intra-operative clinical product support to surgeons and staff.
  • Prepare, maintain, and quality-check equipment and procedure kits before surgery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues according to standard procedures.
  • Manage account inventory, reconcile usage and missing items, and ensure shipping documentation matches received and returned inventory.
  • Support physician training, sales training programs, and education for APPs, office staff, hospital staff, and residents.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team and other Clinical Specialists to review cases and share peer knowledge.
  • Maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices, hospital policies, and company compliance requirements.
  • Perform account management activities in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager, including account setup, clinical engagement, case support, and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in one or more of the following: Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN or BSN, or Laser Tech.
  • For Clinical Specialist II: 1-3 years of industry experience.
  • For Sr. Clinical Specialist: 3+ years of full-time clinical specialist or comparable medical device experience focused on case coverage and patient outcomes.
  • Prior experience as a Clinical Specialist with a medical device company or with mobile lithotripsy provider companies is preferred for Clinical Specialist II.
  • Intraoperative coaching experience is required for Sr. Clinical Specialist.
  • Experience training staff and support teams in the operating room is required for Sr. Clinical Specialist.
  • Urology experience is preferred for Sr. Clinical Specialist.
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room is required.
  • Experience using fluoroscopy is a plus.
  • A degree or certification in a medical-related field such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech is highly desirable.
  • Ability to provide intraoperative procedural guidance is required for Clinical Specialist II and Sr. Clinical Specialist.
  • Willingness to travel outside the designated territory and by car up to 90% is required.
  • Comfort with the pace of a start-up environment is required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Compliance with county, state, and federal vaccination rules is required.

Benefits

  • Total compensation of $100,000-$140,000 annually.
  • Base salary of $80,000, $100,000, or $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Annual variable bonus of $20,000.
  • Auto allowance of $9,600.
  • Cell phone and internet allowance of $1,800.
