Description

  • Own global accounts receivable processes, including customer setup, billing readiness, invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute tracking, credit review support, and month-end close.
  • Establish global billing, collections, credit, cash application, dispute escalation, and bad-debt reserve procedures while accommodating local requirements.
  • Partner with operations, project management, sales, legal, tax, treasury, and finance teams to resolve billing issues, disputes, credit concerns, and collection barriers.
  • Develop AR reporting and performance metrics covering ADD, aging, collection effectiveness, unapplied cash, dispute aging, invoice rejections, billing cycle time, and customer exposure.
  • Lead standardization and automation of billing and cash application processes, including ERP workflows, customer portals, invoice templates, project billing controls, and reporting.
  • Support acquisition integration by mapping processes, aligning billing requirements, migrating customer master data, standardizing collections, and stabilizing reporting.
  • Maintain controls over customer master data, billing authorization, revenue cutoff, credit approvals, allowances, write-offs, cash application, and documentation.
  • Partner with FP&A on receipts, overdue balances, collection risks, liquidity, and cash-flow forecasting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in billing discipline, collections management, dispute resolution, visibility, and accountability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of leadership experience in accounts receivable, Order-to-Cash, billing, collections, project accounting, shared services, or accounting operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, engineering, project-based, multi-country, or acquisition-driven environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience standardizing processes, implementing controls, and driving automation across complex organizations is highly desirable.
