Description

  • Build and improve AWS infrastructure using Terraform, YAML, JSON, and Jinja-based infrastructure as code.
  • Automate application build, testing, and deployment pipelines across customer environments.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability systems for hosted clinical environments.
  • Lead incident response, post-mortems, and corrective-action tracking for availability and performance events.
  • Design and test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies against customer recovery objectives.
  • Optimize cloud performance, data retention, storage lifecycle policies, capacity, and costs.
  • Maintain cloud security controls including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Partner with engineering, support, and project delivery teams on architecture, onboarding, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Ensure infrastructure complies with HIPAA, GDPR, IEC 62304, and Cadwell quality-system requirements.
  • Document architecture, runbooks, and escalation procedures; support on-call staff and mentor technical teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in SRE, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps, including recent production AWS operations.
  • Expert knowledge of AWS compute, storage, networking, managed databases, and ECS.
  • Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipeline design, YAML, JSON/Jinja, and Bash, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript scripting.
  • Experience operating production infrastructure under formal on-call and incident-management practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, encryption, network segmentation, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, observability, backup, disaster recovery, databases, and cloud cost management.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, IEC 62304, or other regulated environments; healthcare, medical device, or financial-services experience preferred.
  • AWS Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, or HL7 tooling such as Mirth Connect preferred.
  • Availability for on-call rotations, occasional after-hours/weekend response, and scheduled maintenance outside clinical hours; travel up to 10%.
