Description

  • Customize and maintain Shopify themes, primarily using Shopify Theme Store themes such as Enterprise or Impact.
  • Develop bespoke Shopify themes to match client requirements when needed.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to complete projects on time and meet client expectations.
  • Communicate clearly in English with team members and project stakeholders.
  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance website functionality.
  • Optimize websites for fast load times and a seamless user experience across devices.
  • Build websites following SEO best practices to improve visibility and search rankings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Support WordPress, PHP, and Laravel projects when needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to keep solutions current.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Shopify development with the ability to customize themes and build custom solutions.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
  • Familiarity with PHP and frameworks like Laravel.
  • WordPress development experience is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Availability to work West Coast hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Ability to integrate third-party services and APIs.
  • Skill in creating mobile-friendly, responsive designs.
  • At least 50 Mbps stable internet connection.
  • Back-up internet connection.
  • At least 8GB RAM.
  • Core i5 or higher processor.
  • Perfectly working webcam, microphone, and audio.
  • Organized workstation.
