Description

  • Architect and implement agentic workflows that support multi-step reasoning, planning, and action-taking.
  • Build stateful autonomous loops that interpret clinical data, generate risk assessments, and determine needed checks.
  • Develop chatbot-style agent experiences powered by LLMs.
  • Integrate agents with Vertex AI and Google Cloud services for model serving, retrieval, and scalable deployment.
  • Implement enterprise grounding and RAG workflows using Vertex AI Vector Search and medical literature sources.
  • Build secure Python function-calling tools to query BigQuery and other datastores for patient demographics and symptoms.
  • Ensure AI operations meet HIPAA and GDPR requirements, including PII masking and data governance.
  • Deploy and support low-latency, highly available services on Vertex AI, Cloud Run, or GKE.
  • Implement agent monitoring, alerting, and compliance controls for safety, security, and SLA adherence.
  • Lead and mentor engineers on MLOps practices, including CI/CD and evaluation pipelines.
  • Design and run automated evaluation frameworks such as LLM-as-a-Judge against golden clinical datasets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise-grade agentic applications with tools such as LangGraph or LangChain Agents.
  • Deep proficiency with LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Specific experience with the Vertex AI SDK and ADK (Agent Development Kit).
  • Experience with Google Dialogflow CX.
  • Expertise in prompting and configuring LLMs, including Function Calling and Context Caching.
  • Experience integrating LLMs into platform and application workflows, including MCP protocols.
  • Expert-level experience designing and implementing RAG systems using embeddings and vector databases.
  • Strong SQL skills for BigQuery.
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, or Vertex Vector Search.
  • Mastery of Python, including FastAPI, and containerization with Docker for deployment to Cloud Run or GKE.
  • Familiarity with scalable, enterprise-level distributed systems.
  • Experience with advanced data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
  • Familiarity with handling unstructured medical text or clinical guidelines is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field is required.
  • Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a relevant field is strongly preferred.
  • Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or currently in the US with a valid H1B visa.
