Description

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for core platform areas, including identity and access, SIS integrations, and reporting.
  • Define and manage the end-to-end identity, roles, permissions, and access control model across the multi-product suite.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of SIS integrations through API and SFTP-based data exchange.
  • Work with customers and implementation partners to translate integration needs into scalable, repeatable solutions.
  • Define and improve reporting and analytics experiences for users with varying levels of data sophistication.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, customer success, and strategy on product decisions and execution.
  • Lead agile ceremonies and support clear decision-making within self-organizing engineering and design teams.
  • Build prototypes and work with development partners to test, measure, and scale new ideas.
  • Oversee product launches, post-launch performance tracking, user feedback collection, and iterative improvements.
  • Meet with customers, support research and testing, and occasionally travel to customer sites to gather insights and build relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-8 years of product management or related experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and permission modeling.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 Trust Service Criteria and experience working within or alongside a compliance program.
  • Hands-on experience with data integration patterns, including REST APIs and SFTP-based file exchange.
  • Experience with K-12 SIS platforms such as PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, or Skyward is a strong plus.
  • Experience defining and shipping reporting or data visualization features for non-technical end users.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and build consensus across stakeholders.
  • Solid experience working with a web and/or mobile-based tech stack, or experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Outstanding critical listening skills and the ability to synthesize others' communications clearly.
