Description

  • Own hardware customer engagements from order placement through go-live and stabilization.
  • Coordinate installs with customers, vendors, and third-party installers, including site readiness, delivery timing, install windows, and post-install validation.
  • Deliver or coordinate customer training for each hardware deployment.
  • Manage day-to-day vendor execution by tracking commitments, enforcing lead times, installation quality, support response, and warranty obligations.
  • Place, track, and reconcile hardware orders while confirming pricing, lead times, and delivery details.
  • Serve as the source of truth for in-flight hardware deployments, including schedules, training calendars, customer issues, and vendor escalations.
  • Surface deployment risks early to leadership and run a weekly operations review on hardware performance and upcoming work.
  • Support Sales and Customer Success by training internal teams on the hardware portfolio and maintaining pitch decks, references, and customer FAQs.
  • Assist with complex pre-sales deals by advising prospects on hardware deployment, timelines, and install resourcing.
  • Scope and execute hardware pilots, then convert pilots cleanly into full deployments.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating hardware rollouts at scale, ideally in connected vehicle, telematics, fleet IoT, or onboard technology.
  • Experience with Geotab, Samsara, Verizon Connect, Zonar, Lytx, Holman, or similar hardware environments is a strong fit.
  • Pupil transportation experience is a meaningful plus, but not required.
  • Comfort managing 20-50 active threads at once across customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Power-user level experience with project tracking tools such as Asana, Monday, Smartsheet, or ClickUp, and ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Jira.
  • Proven vendor management experience, including placing orders, reading SOWs, pushing back on missed timelines, and escalating issues cleanly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead customer kickoffs, training sessions, and leadership briefings.
  • Calm under pressure, highly detail-oriented, and able to catch gaps before they affect a customer go-live.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving growth environment with shifting priorities and seasonal execution peaks.
  • Ability to balance firm pushback with strong customer and vendor relationships.
