Description

  • Design and implement the end-to-end demand planning process, including initial framework, documentation, governance, and iterative improvements as the business grows.
  • Own SKU-level demand forecasts domestically and internationally across all sales channels, including DTC/eCommerce, Amazon, and wholesale/retail partners.
  • Build and maintain demand planning models, including rolling monthly and weekly forecasts, forecast assumptions, version control, and scenario planning.
  • Incorporate historical sales, growth assumptions, promotions, seasonality, and new product launches into demand forecasts and refinements post-launch.
  • Lead cross-functional demand alignment discussions to create and maintain a single consensus demand plan across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Track and report planning performance metrics such as MAPE, Bias, Inventory Turnover, and Fill Rates to drive continuous improvement and transparency.
  • Initiate, own, and manage the S&OP process and cadence, including meeting structure, inputs/outputs, decision tracking, and follow-through with Supply Chain and Finance.
  • Provide planning reports and actionable insights to Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to support purchase order planning, production schedules, and inventory positioning.
  • Align lead-time assumptions, inbound timing, transit timelines, and warehouse capacity with forecasted demand and coordinate with the VP of Supply Chain on PO planning.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in demand planning or related supply chain planning functions.
  • Experience building or significantly redesigning planning processes in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in demand forecasting and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in planning tools and a strong understanding of data structure and planning logic.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) to support demand and supply planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in CPG, supplements, food, or eCommerce environments and familiarity with DTC and Amazon demand signals (preferred).
  • Experience supporting wholesale/retail partners and exposure to international supply chains and global sourcing (preferred).

Benefits

  • Salary range: $95,000–$140,000
