Description

  • Own the mobile architecture blueprint from client app layers through backend integration.
  • Define standards and reference architectures for hybrid frameworks and native interoperability.
  • Establish mobile domain models, API contracts, security controls, and data governance.
  • Create mobile roadmaps aligned with business objectives and platform stability.
  • Lead architecture for new mobile initiatives such as authentication, offline sync, push notifications, deep linking, and feature flagging.
  • Design scalable backend integrations using API gateways, GraphQL/REST, caching, and pub/sub patterns.
  • Architect telemetry and observability pipelines for crash analytics, performance metrics, RUM, and log aggregation.
  • Implement mobile security and compliance controls, including secure storage, device attestation, and secure SDLC practices.
  • Define CI/CD, release orchestration, testing strategy, app distribution, and rollback processes for mobile platforms.
  • Mentor architects and senior engineers while partnering with product, UX, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture.
  • 6+ years of experience leading enterprise-grade mobile solutions.
  • Deep expertise in hybrid or cross-platform frameworks, preferably React Native or Flutter.
  • Familiarity with native iOS and Android development.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices and API gateways such as Azure API Management, Kong, or Apigee.
  • Experience with mobile security standards and practices such as OWASP MASVS/MSTG, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with compliance requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or PCI, as applicable.
  • Experience with MDM/UEM and MAM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or MobileIron.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with identity providers such as Azure AD/Entra ID, Auth0, or Okta.
