Description

  • Bring new features from conception to completion across the full stack.
  • Own feature implementations end-to-end, including work in third-party tools and data systems.
  • Contribute code with a strong focus on both technical execution and business impact.
  • Keep the team aligned on building the right thing and building the thing right.
  • Exercise autonomy and technical judgment while collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Data.
  • Help shape a culture of excellence, candor, and mutual accountability within the pod.
  • Advocate for improvements to developer experience and user experience.
  • Frequently evaluate work through the lens of learner impact.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in web-focused software engineering.
  • Meaningful experience both deep and wide across the domain.
  • Experience working across the stack.
  • Experience owning feature implementations end-to-end.
  • Experience with third-party tools and data systems.
  • Ability to build robust, maintainable, AI-interoperable software systems.
  • Strong preference for simple, non-clever solutions that can be understood and extended by others.
  • Ability to write code for humans and explain technical decisions clearly.
  • A demonstrated history of transformative impact is preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools and workflows to improve productivity is preferred.
