Description

  • Serve as a regional subject matter expert on reimbursement and access for BridgeBio therapies.
  • Educate provider offices on benefits investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, and coverage pathways.
  • Identify and address access barriers across commercial and government payer environments.
  • Provide compliant access and affordability education to consented patients and care partners.
  • Coordinate among hubs, specialty pharmacies, prescriber offices, and support programs to maintain access continuity.
  • Escalate patient access challenges and support patient onboarding within company programs.
  • Share de-identified field insights and payer trends with Market Access leadership.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Compliance, Legal, Commercial, Sales, and Patient Services teams.
  • Mentor field access colleagues and contribute to access strategies, tools, and materials.
  • Handle protected health information in compliance with HIPAA, OIG guidance, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical experience, including significant reimbursement, market access, patient services, or rare disease experience.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. commercial and government payer coverage pathways.
  • Experience navigating specialty pharmacy and hub models.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for patient support and access services.
  • Ability to work independently with significant autonomy in a field-based, cross-functional environment.
  • MBA, RN, or advanced clinical or business degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting both provider reimbursement and patient access programs preferred.
  • Experience with complex health systems, specialty centers, or therapeutic areas such as cardiology, neurology, or pediatrics preferred.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% domestically across NC, TN, VA, WV, and DE.
