Description

  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize community access and address reimbursement barriers.
  • Advise internal teams on authorization processes, requirements, and complex access challenges.
  • Ensure reimbursement activities comply with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with providers, pharmacies, institutions, and other stakeholders to streamline patient access pathways.
  • Evaluate, select, onboard, and manage institutional pharmacy partners.
  • Analyze access data and reporting to identify process improvements.
  • Manage and optimize community support and financial assistance programs.
  • Monitor healthcare policy, market dynamics, and industry trends and adapt access strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 5–8 years of biotech or pharmaceutical experience, including prior Field Reimbursement Manager experience.
  • Experience in market access, community access, or community services.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Rare-disease experience preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Commitment to community-centered care and access to innovative treatments.
  • Ability to travel 60%.
