Description

  • Serve as the medical reviewer on the medical, legal, and regulatory review committee.
  • Develop response letters for non-standard Medical Information requests.
  • Review messaging and scientific materials for accuracy, audience appropriateness, quality, and lexicon alignment.
  • Provide direction to medical communication agencies during content development and review.
  • Facilitate communication of clinical data and scientific information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboratively develop and help execute medical plans aligned with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Ensure all medical activities are compliant with applicable requirements.
  • Represent the company at scientific conferences, advocacy meetings, executive joint meetings, and other external events.

Requirements

  • PharmD, Ph.D., or MD required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs.
  • 3+ years of experience as a content reviewer in Medical Affairs (MLR).
  • Experience in medical (MLR) review and/or Medical Information preferred.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Experience in rare diseases, especially rare neuromuscular diseases, preferred.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous priorities, changing deadlines, and limited resources.
  • High sense of urgency, strong attention to detail, and commitment to execution.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including networking.
  • U.S.-based remote role with quarterly, or as-needed, visits to the San Francisco office.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
