Description

  • Lead concept development for films, visual motion design, and creative projects aligned to brand and marketing strategies.
  • Deliver marketing assets including social content, TVC cutdowns, 2D animations, and motion graphics from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, designers, and local/global teams to scope projects and define timelines.
  • Provide leadership and expertise to the motion and video team, including mentoring and developing team members.
  • Line manage junior members of the team.
  • Act as a brand guardian on key accounts to uphold brand integrity and guide decisions.
  • Present work internally and to clients.
  • Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback to meet project needs.
  • Serve as the go-to person for video and motion design requests and stay at the forefront of new technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, with an up-to-date showreel.
  • Experience working on FMCG and/or global brands.
  • Background in both digital and broadcast work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
  • Knowledge of CapCut, Canva, Cinema 4D, and/or other 3D software is advantageous.
  • High proficiency in GenAI tools such as Runway, Google Veo, Kling AI, Sora, and Luma is required.
  • Minimum Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
  • A relevant degree or diploma is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Passion for digital trends and motion graphic/animation design.
