Description

  • Craft competitive and compelling SEO audits, proposals, and reports for clients.
  • Use SEO platforms (e.g., MarketMuse, SEMRush, Ahrefs) to assess website health and identify errors and opportunities.
  • Itemize and prioritize technical and content-related SEO issues and execute against planned scopes for site optimization.
  • Perform SEO research and optimization for projects including UX/website redesigns, large-scale organic SEO (keyword research), and backlink-focused initiatives.
  • Leverage Google Analytics and Google Search Console to analyze performance and inform recommendations.
  • Communicate complex search and technical concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders and produce professional presentations and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a versatile team player on varied projects.
  • Continuously learn and apply SEO developments and share knowledge with internal and client-facing teams.
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain strong organization and project-management practices.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years contributing to or managing SEO programs, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proven success with SEO campaigns for medium to large brands, ideally including ecommerce.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced understanding of technical SEO: crawling, indexing, rendering, AMP, site migrations, page speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, and related topics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Search Console; Tag Manager and Publisher Center experience is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, plus comfort with Google Sheets.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as they impact search performance.
  • Familiarity with recent SEO developments (Core Web Vitals, Google Discover, E-A-T, Rich Results) and willingness to stay current.
  • Experience using standard and enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Botify, Sitebulb, Conductor Searchlight, Stat, SEMRush, Sistrix, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, MarketMuse, Ahrefs).
  • Ability to format professional presentations (PowerPoint/Google Slides), meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and provide own industry hardware and a stable internet connection as a contractor.
