Description

  • Lead the technical vision and implementation of the marketing site and growth-focused web experiences.
  • Rebuild or majorly refactor the marketing website using Next.js and a headless CMS.
  • Own the marketing website architecture, roadmap, and frontend best practices across the team.
  • Audit the current site’s performance, SEO, analytics, and experimentation setup and create an improvement plan.
  • Implement or refine analytics and event tracking for acquisition, activation, and conversion visibility.
  • Launch growth experiments such as pricing page tests, signup flow optimizations, and new landing pages.
  • Build and optimize the site for speed, SEO, AEO/GEO, and modern routing patterns.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design to translate business goals into technical execution.
  • Work hands-on in the codebase while contributing to broader frontend strategy.
  • Create a repeatable experimentation workflow for rapid testing and iteration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional frontend experience, including at least 3 years building production apps with React.
  • Strong expertise in Next.js, TypeScript, and SSR/ISR patterns.
  • Deep knowledge of web fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and accessibility.
  • Experience building high-traffic, growth-focused websites such as home, pricing, and signup pages.
  • Comfort collaborating directly with marketing and design partners.
  • Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Sanity, or Strapi.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, user experience best practices, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization for modern React/Next.js applications.
  • Experience setting up analytics and A/B testing tools such as GA4, GTM, Mixpanel, Optimizely, or VWO.
  • Preferred experience in B2B or B2C SaaS, especially in fintech, startup, or scale-up environments tied to revenue, acquisition, or product-led growth.
  • Preferred familiarity with design systems and translating Figma or similar designs into production frontends.
  • Preferred experience in Growth, Web Marketing, or GTM Engineering teams.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, experiment-heavy environments.
  • Must be located in Ontario, BC, or Alberta and able to attend occasional in-person meetings and team-building events.
  • Must be able to clear a credit and criminal record check as a condition of employment.

  • Annual salary range of $100,000–$150,000 CAD, with starting pay based on relevant experience and skills.
