Description

  • Design and implement classes, interfaces, and methods for a document IDE.
  • Refactor existing code to improve extensibility and maintainability.
  • Write unit tests and develop effective algorithms.
  • Review code written by other team members.
  • Design overall architecture and make technical stack decisions.
  • Interview customers to clarify product requirements and daily workflow pain points.
  • Propose innovative and feasible ideas for new product features.
  • Collaborate on feature prioritization, hiring, and mentoring as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of C# development experience in a corporate environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Experience developing a user-facing product.
  • Experience using GitHub for team development and code review.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Interest in developing novel document editors.
  • Commitment to writing clean, efficient code.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Understanding of psychological safety and diversity in the workplace.
  • Preferred: startup work experience.
  • Preferred: fluent Korean communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience working on an engineering team of 5+ people.
  • Preferred: proactive ability to identify and propose improvements beyond your own scope.
  • Preferred: business-level English reading and writing skills.

  • Fully remote work, with some in-person work possible for employees living near Tokyo.
  • Flexible working hours with a flexible time window from 6:00–11:30 and 15:00–22:00, and a core time from 11:30–15:00.
  • Virtual office environment for interacting and meeting with colleagues.
  • Two-day weekend with national holidays and year-end holidays.
  • Full-time permanent employment with annual salary compensation.
  • Six-month probation period.
