Description

  • Investigate user frustration and low feature utilization to identify root causes in the product, interface, or support materials.
  • Work with Product and Business teams to improve user satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Customer Success to clarify ambiguous customer feedback and conduct regular interviews.
  • Help product teams stay accountable for maintaining strong NPS through ongoing customer insight collection.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to identify blockers and friction in product demos and onboarding.
  • Find efficient and cost-effective ways to resolve onboarding and demo issues by coordinating internal and external resources.
  • Collaborate with Product Designers to understand local usage patterns and customer habits.
  • Apply user insights in early testing so design specifications are closely tailored to customer needs.
  • Support product roadmap prioritization by adding quality to feature decisions and identifying what to build or not build.
  • Contribute to launches and go-to-market efforts by translating customer needs into actionable product input.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional legal experience as a lawyer, paralegal, or corporate legal department member.
  • Functional business English proficiency with the ability to discuss complex ideas with a non-Japanese-speaking manager.
  • Strong analytical and structural thinking to break down complex legal workflows into actionable insights.
  • Proactive interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and work effectively across functions.
  • Hands-on experience speaking directly with customers through interviews, feedback calls, on-site visits, or workshops.
  • Experience working in fast-moving environments where priorities change and coordination across teams is required.
  • Experience navigating different team goals and KPIs while finding practical ways to align stakeholders.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to learn new skills, tools, and domains quickly.
  • Background in roles such as Associate Product Manager, Consultant, Analyst, Project Coordinator/Assistant, Product Marketing, or Growth roles is useful.
  • Experience wearing many hats in a cross-functional role is preferred.
