Description

  • Build and maintain the foundational cloud infrastructure for Booksy’s data platform.
  • Support data engineering and analytics teams by enabling reliable, automated, self-service workflows.
  • Develop GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Optimize CI/CD workflows and automated release pipelines.
  • Manage the Cloud Composer/Airflow scheduler.
  • Improve the safety and efficiency of data platform scaling.
  • Collaborate across the data platform engineering team to support the broader data ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in data platform, infrastructure, SRE, or backend/DevOps engineering.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining Terraform modules, with Terragrunt as a plus.
  • Experience working on Google Cloud Platform or another major cloud provider.
  • Strong Python scripting skills and strong SQL skills.
  • Experience managing containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes/GKE.
  • Practical experience designing and optimizing automated release pipelines using GitLab CI.
  • Professional English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Experience administering Google BigQuery datasets, permissions, and performance is preferred.
  • Exposure to PySpark and open table formats such as Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake is preferred.
  • Curiosity or experience with AI-assisted developer tools and LLM observability tools such as Langfuse is preferred.
