Description

  • Work with cross-functional partners to identify and prioritize the user problems worth solving.
  • Own design projects end to end from problem definition through design thinking, Figma or AI-assisted design, QA, and quality control.
  • Lead design for new zero-to-one product experiences in untapped territory.
  • Set the vision for future Bolt product experiences and help define how teams use AI to build products.
  • Raise the quality bar across typography, spacing, motion, and visual consistency.
  • Build and improve design systems to support higher-quality launches across a growing product line.
  • Partner closely with engineering to protect visual fidelity through implementation.
  • Translate abstract ideas into tangible product directions that inform strategy and execution.

Requirements

  • A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft.
  • A track record of shipping pixel-perfect work at scale in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments while maintaining a high craft bar under deadline pressure.
  • Fluency in design systems and the discipline to build for consistency across a growing platform.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering to protect visual fidelity through implementation.
  • You are already using AI to tackle personal and professional challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.
  • Startup or small team experience (preferred).
  • Experience in shaping AI tools (preferred).
  • A college degree is not required.
  • U.S. location is not required; the role is remote-friendly.
