Description

  • Design, implement, and ship customer-facing products that wrap AI capabilities into usable applications.
  • Build responsive front-end interfaces and scalable back-end services.
  • Develop and maintain the database and pipeline layers that connect application components to AI systems.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate models, agents, and retrieval systems into products.
  • Own architecture, implementation, performance, and operational concerns across the product lifecycle.
  • Establish testing, observability, and feedback loops to validate product behavior and support iteration.
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and strategists across delivery teams.
  • Participate in client conversations from early scoping through delivery.
  • Translate business problems into technical solutions in a consulting environment.
  • Bring useful new tools, frameworks, and patterns back to the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience shipping production web applications.
  • Background in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or another technical or scientific field.
  • Strong back-end development experience in Python, with FastAPI or a similar framework.
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling.
  • Experience working with relational databases and service integrations.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing, version control hygiene, and code quality.
  • Experience deploying on a major cloud provider, with Azure preferred.
  • Ability to balance performance, cost, and maintainability in production systems.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and MCP-based workflows.
  • Comfort working in a consulting environment and speaking directly with non-technical clients.
