Description

  • Review BAS submittals, controls schematics, sequences of operations, points lists, schedules, riser diagrams, and network architecture documentation.
  • Provide technical oversight for BAS and controls engineering across mission-critical facility projects.
  • Evaluate designs for quality, specification compliance, consistency, and alignment with controls standards.
  • Support construction and commissioning by reviewing drawings, developing and executing testing scripts, validating system performance, and resolving technical issues.
  • Track design comments through revisions and closure.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and facility engineering teams, vendors, integrators, and project stakeholders on reviews, RFIs, and field issues.
  • Identify design risks and drive timely technical resolution.
  • Maintain documentation for design changes, lessons learned, and controls standards.
  • Help standardize BAS and controls designs across a global project portfolio.
  • Communicate design intent, findings, and review comments to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Building Automation Systems engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of mission-critical, data center, or critical-facility construction experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with major DDC platforms.
  • Hands-on experience designing, programming, commissioning, or supporting BAS/DDC environments.
  • Experience reviewing sequences of operations, controls schematics, points lists, BAS submittals, network architecture diagrams, and panel/device schedules.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, testing, system validation, issue resolution, or field implementation.
  • Strong working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, DDC, and PLC control systems.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems for controls integration.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Visio.
  • Ability to collaborate across U.S. and APAC time zones, with occasional meetings outside standard U.S. hours.
  • Preferred: hyperscale data center experience, controls standards development, major platforms such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Automated Logic, and vendor, integrator, consulting, or global engineering program experience.
