Description

  • Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Build, customize, and implement theme-based WordPress pages to meet project specifications and design requirements.
  • Translate designer mockups into functional, optimized webpages, ensuring accurate implementation of visual and UX elements.
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at Level AA) across projects.
  • Optimize front-end assets and pages for performance and cross-browser/device compatibility.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams, designers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Contribute to multiple client projects in a fast-paced consultancy environment, delivering high-quality, client-facing work.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience developing and customizing WordPress themes and theme-based pages.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing WCAG 2+ (Level AA) accessibility standards.
  • Experience building responsive websites and optimizing pages for web use and performance.
  • Ability to translate design mockups into functional front-end code with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working remotely in Latin America (posting references Tegucigalpa, Honduras; remote-first role).
  • Ability to collaborate with product teams and designers in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and company-sponsored training/certifications.
