Description

  • Create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites and pages.
  • Develop, build, and customize WordPress themes to meet project specifications and design requirements.
  • Translate designer mockups into functional, optimized webpages that accurately implement design elements.
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards, targeting WCAG 2+ level AA compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams and designers throughout development to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Optimize webpages for web use, including asset and performance considerations.
  • Work across multiple client projects as a consultant, delivering solutions that meet client needs and project timelines.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for WordPress development.
  • Experience building and customizing WordPress themes and theme-based pages.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards and experience implementing WCAG 2+ (level AA) requirements.
  • Ability to translate visual mockups and design specifications into functional webpages.
  • Experience working collaboratively with product teams and designers.
  • Availability to work remotely from the Latin America region (role listed as Remote, Latin America).
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced consultancy environment and handling multiple client projects.
