Description

  • Create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites and web pages.
  • Develop, build, and customize theme-based WordPress pages and templates to meet project specifications.
  • Translate designer mockups into functional, aesthetically accurate, and optimized web pages.
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at Level AA) across sites.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams and designers to refine requirements and ensure design fidelity.
  • Maintain and update existing WordPress sites, including bug fixes, performance optimization, and content updates.
  • Deliver solutions across multiple client projects and adapt to changing project priorities as a consultant.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience developing and customizing WordPress themes and theme-based pages.
  • Experience building responsive, cross-browser web pages and optimizing for performance.
  • Experience implementing WCAG 2+ accessibility standards at Level AA.
  • Experience working with designers and product teams to translate mockups into production pages.
  • Ability to work remotely from Latin America and to work flexible hours.
  • Experience in a client-facing or consultancy environment is preferred.
