Description

  • Define product requirements, write user stories, and manage the product backlog.
  • Use metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to drive prioritization and measure product success.
  • Prioritize and triage product support issues and coordinate fixes with development and support teams.
  • Manage projects and outsourced work to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate meetings, present findings, and obtain stakeholder buy-in across business and technical teams.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering on product and solution architecture and technical trade-offs.
  • Operate within Agile development practices and use contemporary SDLC tools to drive delivery (e.g., Jira, GitHub, CI tools).
  • Apply usability and human-factors best practices to inform product and UI decisions.
  • Act as a consultant to clients across multiple projects, ensuring client satisfaction and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
  • Proven experience using metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to drive product decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of building SaaS products and the full product lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and practices.
  • Experience evaluating and prioritizing product support issues and working with support tools (e.g., Zendesk).
  • Experience managing projects and outsourced vendors to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, user story writing, and working with engineering on software architecture.
  • Hands-on familiarity with contemporary SDLC tools such as Jira, GitHub, Travis CI (or similar CI/CD tools).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to facilitate meetings and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of human-factors/usability and UI design best practices; strong attention to detail, energetic, quick learner, and team player; based in Latin America (Alajuela, Costa Rica noted).
