Description

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using services such as ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Operate Aurora/PostgreSQL production environments, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica-lag monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Build and manage Docker- and ECS/Fargate-based deployment environments.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with tested rollback procedures.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, observability, load testing, latency SLOs, and error-budget practices.
  • Apply security, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance, and infrastructure-hardening practices.
  • Support SOC 2 or similar audit evidence requests and client security reviews.
  • Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and support for complex systems.
  • Collaborate with clients and consulting teams while owning delivery commitments and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on AWS experience, including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Production experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL, including failover, read replicas, and replica-lag monitoring.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, Docker, ECS/Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with deployment automation, rollback testing, observability tools such as OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch, and load testing with k6 or similar.
  • Experience with incident response, on-call operations, root-cause analysis, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance practices.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar audits and client security reviews.
  • Substantial experience working with large, complex systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree required and availability to overlap U.S. business hours.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving, attention to detail, client focus, and adherence to best practices.
  • Experience with S3 Object Lock, long-term archival, secure multi-tenant environments, PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, database migrations, expand/contract schema changes, or compliance-sensitive domains preferred.
